Recovering Nicely

Craig is recovering nicely from 'minor' surgery today. His kiddies have been giving him lots of love.

He's been doing lots of school work. There's not much time to rest when you're a student again!!

Baylor Beach

We spent a beautiful Thursday at Baylor Beach in Navarre. It was the perfect place. It was clean, the water was an unnatural color of blue, so it had to be clean right????? It had fun stuff for the little kids (and big kids) to play on. It wasn't too deep either. You could walk all the way across the pond. It's perfect. I would highly reccomend it to anyone with little kids.

Bob is running from the kids who were dumping sand and water on him while he was sitting on the beach. He's a good sport.

It's Been a While

It's been a few years since Craig has seen his brother Bob. He has been in the Army and has served 2 tours in Iraq and been stationed in Hawaii. Unfortunately we weren't able to visit him in Hawaii. Bob and his family are now stationed in North Carolina and we'll get to see a little more of them now. Bob, Alison, Caitlyn, James, Peyton, and Brooke are visiting and we have had fun the past few days.

Happy Father's Day

Craig has wanted a Wii for a while. His last gaming station was a Playstation 2 that has to be close to 10 years old now. Luke, Mallory, and I went shopping for his Father's Day gift Thursday evening. We bought the Wii and paid with the debit card. I thought it would be a gift that he wouldn't expect because #1, I'm cheap and #2, I'm cheap. I also thought I would be sly and hide it in the storage bin in the floor of the van since we had to go and pick up Craig later that night. Wrong. When we got home Craig decided to be on the ball and quickly put back the reusable grocery bags I had used to put groceries in...where you ask? In the storage in the floor of our van. Under normal circumstances these bags lay on the floor for hours after we bring our groceries in, that day Craig decided to put them away as soon as they were emptied. He swore he didn't see the gift though. Then on Saturday morning wouldn't you know what we received in the mail...our bank account statement. I didn't get the mail and when Craig said we got our bank statement I thought to myself surely that purchase we made Thursday evening at 6:00pm certainly couldn't be on a bank statement we received less than 48 hours later...WRONG. It was. So, needless to say Craig got his Father's Day gift early. It was no fun. I didn't even wrap it. I gave it to him in the bag. It's okay though, he spent all of Saturday night rearranging the TV stand to make it fit and I can't wait to beat him at bowling!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fake surprise look.

Great News

Mallory had a heart check-up last week. Her doctor has been telling us for a while she may need a heart cath to expand the diameter of her aorta. This check-up was going to decide if that would happen. Her ultrasound showed her aorta has grown on its own since January, so no heart cath!!!! Yeahhhh Mallory. Her blood pressures were good too! He is still keeping her on her medicine though, with the hopes that she will eventually 'outgrow' the doses she is on.
Below is Mal laying perfectly still for her EKG and blood pressure. She also laid still during the ultrasound until the nice lady said, "Wow, she is doing great. I'm getting pictures of everything I need so easily." I would guess about 2 minutes after that Mallory started screaming. I tried to hold her and lay with her so they could still do the ultrasound. That's when she peed on me!!! Right where it made me look like I peed myself. After that Craig took over. He held her the rest of the time and they got the pictures they needed. Overall...great visit.

What have we been up to?

Summer is the best. We've been enjoying summer for a little over a week now and it's been fun. Too bad Craig has to spend most of his time doing school work. So here's what we've been up to.
1. Playing outside a lot.
2. Luke started swimming lessons yesterday. He's learning to swim like a fish!!!

3. Went to a pool part at one of Craig's co-workers house. Mallory can't really enjoy the pool all that much, so she made her own fun.

The Pullen's have the most beautiful landscaping. The stalker in me tried to discretely take pictures of it, so I could try to replicate it...yeah right!!!

4. Visited the McKinley Museum

5. Took in Toby, Olly, and Ellie's t-ball game
