Remodeling Part One

We started phase one of our home remodeling. New windows. Craig started with the basement windows a few weeks ago. He took out these windows below and put all new glass block windows in. Goodbye cold windows!!!

We were able to sit all the old windows and screens at the curb with a free sign. They were gone within minutes at some point. We happily gave windows away to four or five different people, but no one would take this rotten kid!



Darrell and Craig started last Thursday on the regular windows. Notice the nice glass block windows in the basement. Here are some before pictures.

Randoms

Here are some random pictures of the kiddies.
I've been mowing the neighbor's yard to gather grass clippings for our garden. Luke is very afraid of loud noises (motorcycles, mowers, trucks, etc.) so this was an accomplishment for him. He really liked helping.

Mallory's first ponytail. She has just enough hair to get a little ponytail in the back. I refuse to do the pebbles ponytail on top of the head. Plus she doesn't have enough hair up there anyway. Luke calls this her tattle tale.

Luke and the Schrader's eating ice cream. Rocky got lucky that night and got to finish a lot of ice cream cones.

We went to the Football Hall of Fame Sunday afternoon for Father's Day
Luke was listening to information about one of the displays through the phone. He liked that.

Summer Fun

First Trip to the Dentist

Luke made his first trip to the dentist yesterday. As you can see, he wore his helmet.

Dr. Winters was able to convince him to take it off so he could look at his teeth better. Say ahhhhhhhh.
Luke did a good job. He had 20 teeth in excellent shape according to the doctor. He got a little chair ride for being such a good patient.
