Happy Birthday to Me!!

Mallory turned 1/4 today. She spent the day getting pictures, grocery shopping, and hanging out with her cool Dad, Mom, and brother. Plus she got to see her Great Aunt Neva whose birthday is also today. Her Great Aunt is 11 1/4 though!!!!

Luke and Mallory got their pictures taken today. There's only one of Luke, not because we love him less, but because we were originally going just for Mallory's first birthday, but he's so cute, we had to get one!!

Winter 'Onederland'

Mallory's first birthday party was yesterday. She celebrated with her cousin Emma, who also turns one this month. We had a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who came. The Birthday Girls Enjoying their cakes

Winter Fun

We have been stuck inside for quite a while. We are so ready for spring. Even though we had almost 70 degree weather here last week, we couldn't go out and enjoy it because everyone has been sick. We are still having fun though!!! I think Luke gets his batting stance from his mom. Only one problem here, he's sleeping!!

Luke's hair was getting a bit long. It's cut now.

This was taken just before her bath. She was trying to escape. Even though it looks like Rocky is sniffing her little hiney, he was just chasing after her.

Oh Happy Day!!!

Today was a great day. We took Mallory to the cardiologist to get her MRI results. When she had her MRI a month ago, they told us her enitre aorta was narrowed or small and not just the portion they repaired. Of course that's all they told us, so we weren't sure what that would mean. She had an ultrasound of her heart today to measure the amount of blood that was passing through the aorta. It turns out it a good amount is passing through!!! The doctor is hoping that her aorta will grow and expand as she does. Perhaps a balloon dilation or a stent could be necessary later in life, but for right now he is pleased. He even lowered one of her blood pressure medicines and we are soooooo excited about that. She has to go back in 6 weeks to check her blood pressure. It was a very exciting and happy day. Mallory had a sundae at Friday's to celebrate!!!!

11 Months

Mallory is 11 months old now!! She weighs about 18 pounds and is around 28 inches. She is a speed crawler now and she is starting to let go of things while she is standing. She races Luke around the house. She is eating less and less baby food and is getting more picky! She laughs a lot and loves to take naps. She still is pretty cuddly which is really important to me. I love it!
