Happy Easter

Luke got new Thomas the Train undies in his Easter basket and a Lightning McQueen hat. He was ecstatic. Mallory was deprived and got some eggs with Smarties in them.
She was happy though!

Saturday, on our way home we stopped by the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame. They had a display for Arlen Ness called Awesome-Ness. I think they just knew Luke was coming and quickly painted this on the floor for him.

Getaway

We had a long weekend, so we thought it may be fun to get out of town for a little bit. We left for Columbus on Thursday evening. Here is what we hoped the kids would do in the car on the way there, but Luke ended up staying awake the entire drive. Side note: Only one pee on the side of the road on the way there! We planned to go to Cosi Science Center Friday, but Mallory woke up with a temperature. Figuring that she had an ear infection, we found a stat care near by to make sure. She did and with a little bit of Motrin, some antibiotic, and a long nap, we were able to go to Cosi later in the day. She is such a trooper!

The sign beside Mallory says 85% of all kids will have an ear infection before the age of 3. What a coincidence.
