Just Like Dad

If you know Craig, you know he likes shoes. I've heard many stories about him and one of my favorites regards his love for shoes (and other items). When he was a kid, he would sleep with his new shoes. Not only did he sleep with his shoes, he slept with new toys, Christmas gifts, etc. I believe the statement, "Like Father, like Son." Recently Luke has wanted to sleep with his favorite things. The last few nights it has been his golf 'pubs' (clubs). Tonight he carried two pubs to bed and then wouldn't lay down until he went to find the third pub. He also had to have his 'putball' (football) and his 'feeper' (sweeper). Since I won't let him put his toy sweeper in bed with him, it's parked right outside his bed. You gotta love him!!!

Family Reunions are a smash!!

Luke had fun this past weekend at our family reunion.
He had lessons on how to hit the piñata , but by the look of the picture below, the piñata won!! When he tried to swing, he ran right into it. I was trying to get an action shot and I did!!!

Atwood

We went to Atwood Lake for a night out. Luke and Mallory played on the playground and in the water. We were ate by mosquitos, but had a lot of fun.

Cousins

Jerry and Laura's visit from Colorado provided many great photo opportunities for all of the kids!! I've never been around so many kids!! Mallory and Emma fighting over toys already.

Happy Birthdays Luke!

We didn't have a big birthday party for Luke this year, we just celebrated with all sides of the family!!

Chomp Chomp!

Mallory's first tooth poked through last Saturday (7/19/08). It was her bottom right tooth. Then on Monday, the second came through right next to it. She had her first steak yesterday and had corn on the cob today!!

Zoo

We visited The Akron Zoo while Grandpa and Grandma Wolfarth were home. Luke had fun and enjoyed all the ducks. He called every animal a duck, except the bears, which he called Rocky. They do look similar.

The Schrader's came over to try out the slip-n-slide on a hot day. Craig and Mike had fun tossing the boys down the slide. Look at their perfect form in the background of the pictures. :) Olly

We went swimming at The Days Inn. Luke liked it here a little better because the water was so warm.

Look Who's Two!!!!!

Here is Luke on his 2nd birthday in his rocking chair. Just for comparison, here he is last year. What a change!
