Look out LeBron

Mallory recently got a new/used pair of shoes. Luke was a bit jealous and asked when he was getting new shoes. After 3 1/2 years of receiving 2nd hand shoes, clearance shoes, Payless shoes, yard sale shoes, or resale shop shoes, Luke finally got a new and cool pair of shoes!!! His new LeBron's were courtesy of Aunt Diana and Uncle Greg. He was so excited when Craig gave them to him. He said, "Mommy, I love them!" Then he quickly asked..."Do you have to wash them first?"

Trying them on.
Apparently, they make Luke run even faster than before.
And of course...sleeping with the new kicks.

Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner!

Dirty Dancing is one of my all time favorite movies. There's just something about it! It was on tv few weeks back and the entire family happened to not have anything better to do. We all (including the kids) watched the majority of it. Even Mallory sat still for longer than 5 minutes and that's unusual. Well...fast forward to last Saturday morning. Most Saturdays are filled with Playhouse Disney and Agent Oso mixed in with a little Tom and Jerry and Scooby Doo. When we were searching for some cartoons, Dirty Dancing just happened to be on. Luke told Craig, "don't turn the channel daddy!" He and Mallory both watched the movie AGAIN! It must be a genetic thing passed to them from me. :) It makes me happy that they appreciate this cinematic genius. Here they are enthralled by Dirty Dancing.

The Best $1.00 Ever

Luke is fascinated with football! He loves to watch games. The past few weeks he's been participating in the games he watches on tv. He lines up in a stance as the guys on the tv do. He watches the screen to see when the ball is hiked and then he takes off running. When someone gets tackled, he falls on the ground and rolls around. Last weekend he told me I needed to check him out because an injured guy on the the tv was being checked out. It is so cute to watch! Now on to the best $1.00 ever...I like thrift stores. I enjoy digging through other peoples junk. It's fun. I feel good when I find a good bargain. So...I drug Craig kicking and screaming into the Salvation Army. (He despises anything of that nature.) I was looking around when he brought me a set of cleats. They just happened to be exactly Luke's size. We spent a whopping $1.00 on the cleats (it was 1/2 off day). When we gave them to Luke his eyes were huge! He wore them it seemed for 3 days straight. Of course he slept with them, like he does all of his new things, but he slept with them on his feet. So, as we are preparing for tonight's playoff games, Luke is suited up in his cleats and OSU uniform ready to go. It's adorable.

Stir Crazy

We aren't doing anything...and it's getting a little crazy here.

Craig and I got to enjoy a day off of school together yesterday. It was fun. Craig took this picture Thursday night. I love how the snowflakes showed up.
Hopefully we can get our Christmas lights put away soon!

Where's my pants?

Mallory likes to lay with a baby doll during her naps. Today, she laid her baby down with her. They are laying just the same. How cute! Then I noticed her baby's pants were missing. Can you find them in the picture?
Her legs must be cold.

Here's the baby's pants. They are a bit small for Mal, but she managed to get them on as far as she could!
