Mallory had a heart checkup last week. She weighed in at 15lbs. 8 oz. She is doing very well. Her blood pressure was a bit elevated. Her aorta is still narrowed from scar tissue forming where it was repaired. Since it is still narrow, they would like to perform a heart cath and stretch it out. This will open the aorta and let even more blood flow through. We don’t have a time frame, but it will be in the near future. This procedure will help her get off of her blood pressure medicine. This will be wonderful since she’s been taking it seven times a day for 5 and ½ months. This site has a good summary of her condition.
